Introduction

Prabhu (R. Madhavan) is an arrogant, rude but highly successful women's boxing coach. He becomes a victim of boxing association politics and is transferred to Tamil Nadu. He decides to make a champion wherever he may be. In this quest, he meets a 17-year-old girl selling fish (Ritika Singh as Madhi) with a rare fighting spirit but uninterested in the sport. The rest of the movie is a battle of wills between the reluctant girl who has all the talent but is uninterested in developing it and a man who sees in her the capacity to achieve what he never could.

Director	Sudha Kongara Born in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India in 1972, Sudha Kongara debuted in the Indian film industry as a screenplay writer for the film Mitr: My Friend (2002), directed by Revathy. She then worked with Mani Ratnam as an associate director for a period of six years on multiple projects.
