Introduction

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the “ULTRAMAN” series’ first broadcast. To celebrate, the original production company, Tsuburaya Productions has created the “KINJO TETSUO AWARD”. Kinjo was the main scriptwriter of “ULTRA Q”, “ULTRAMAN”, and “ULTRA SEVEN”. The award will be given to new talent for excellent writing and ideas that can extend through the next 50 years and beyond. This kick-off event presents “Ultraman” episodes written by Kinjo and a panel discussion called “Ultra Session” featuring creative professionals who are judges of the award. They will discuss what kind of new talent Japan needs to make its film industry more successful and how to make films for a truly global audience.

* The Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Ordiance for Healthy Youth Development prohibits individuals under age of 18 from being at theaters from 23:00 to 4:00. This also applies when these individuals are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

* Screenings at TIFF are not eligible for Cinemileage (TOHO CINEMAS mileage).

* TIFF tickets are not eligible for parking services at any of the venues.
