Introduction

This is a portrait of an artist whose exceptional approach to art and life defined him as one of the most ardent admirers of life itself. The leading aim of this documentary is to share 76 minutes and 15 seconds of undiscovered moments of Abbas Kiarostami’s life and work, in commemoration of his 76 years and 15 days of creative journey. The shots in this documentary are selected from hundreds of hours of footage, filmed during 25 years of friendship, inside and outside Iran, on various occasions.

Director	Seifollah Samadian Born in Orumieh, Iran in 1954, Seifollah Samadian is a prolific photographer, cinematographer, and filmmaker. He collaborated mainly with the director Abbas Kiarostami for 20 years, as cinematographer of ABC Africa, Roads of Kiarostami, and Five. He has organized the annual Image of the Year and Tassvir Film Festival and is known for dealing with Iranian art and social issues over the past 40 years.

* The Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Ordiance for Healthy Youth Development prohibits individuals under age of 18 from being at theaters from 23:00 to 4:00. This also applies when these individuals are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

* Screenings at TIFF are not eligible for Cinemileage (TOHO CINEMAS mileage).

* TIFF tickets are not eligible for parking services at any of the venues.
