Introduction

Kanae Minato (Original Novel), Yukiko Mishima (Director), Tsubasa Honda, and Mizuki Yamamoto - the four women launch the sensational mystery about “death”. The film shows the hidden “dark side” in the 17-year-old girls, fascinatingly, sensitively and powerfully. Two teenage girls harbor a desire to witness the moment when someone dies, in order to figure it out the true meaning of death.

Director	Yukiko Mishima Mishima wrote and directed subsequent features Bread of Happiness (2012) and A Drop of the Grapevine (2014). The latter was an official selection of the 38th Montreal World Film Festival’s World Greats section and received high acclaim. A Stitch of Life (2015) was her representative work and distributed in Korea and Taiwan. Her latest film Osanago Warera ni Umare will be released in 2017.
