Introduction

Having sold over 35 million copies and being TV-dramatized in various regions, the comic “itazurana KISS” is finally coming to the big screen for the first time. Including a new episode that has never been revealed in the comics before, this romantic comedy features rising stars Kanta Sato as Naoki and Reina Visa as Kotoko.

Director	Minoru Mizoguchi While working as a producer of music and music videos, Mizoguchi got to know the husband of the comic author Kaoru Tada. Through this relationship, Mizoguchi learned the comic production process. In 2008, he joined the TV animation “itazurana Kiss” for story development. Since then, he has participated in all the Japanese versions of “itazurana Kiss”. With the offer from the late Kaoru Tada's husband, Mizoguchi made his directorial debut with this film.
