All members of the media need to be accredited in advance in order to cover the Tokyo International Film Festival.
You will need to have either "Press Pass A" or "Press Pass B" issued with a QR Code.

* Please avoid using a shared email address (such as info@) as an individual e-mail address is required for personal verification for Press Pass.
* Members of the press who apply for Press Pass A are soon required to submit their coverage of film from the past one year.
* If you wish to have access to news releases and other information in the English language, make sure to select "English" from webpage language preferences, and use the English form to apply and register.
The deadline for press pass accreditation for TIFF is Friday, September 23, 2016.
* For those who require assistance for Entry Visa, the deadline will be Friday, September 16.

Information on where/when/how to receive your Press Pass will be posted on the TIFF official website and also sent to your registered email address at a later date.
*There have been cases of unauthorized sharing of Press Passes and false identity registrations in recent years.
These behavior will lead to having your Press Pass confiscated and future applications denied.
