Introduction

The first film in 12 years from the domestic Godzilla series, a franchise that represents Japan. Written and co-directed by Hideaki Anno (“Evangelion”). A spectacular visual expression has reincarnated Godzilla, with a new realism created by a thoroughly researched screenplay that asks, “How would Japanese people confront Godzilla if it appeared for the first time in Japan today?”

Director	Executive Director : Hideaki Anno Born on May 22, 1960 in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Anno worked as a key animator in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984) for the giant god warrior scene. He earned legions of fans with his massive hit, “Evangelion” (1995). He established khara, Inc. in 2006, which produced The Rebuild of Evangelion series with Anno serving as original author, scriptwriter, executive director, and executive producer.

* Purchase of Opening/Closing/Special Screenings/Tokyo Grand Prix Winner Screening+Award Ceremony tickets are limited to 2 tickets per person. The other screenings are limited to 4 tickets per person.

* The Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Ordiance for Healthy Youth Development prohibits individuals under age of 18 from being at theaters from 23:00 to 4:00. This also applies when these individuals are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

* Screenings at TIFF are not eligible for Cinemileage (TOHO CINEMAS mileage).

* TIFF tickets are not eligible for parking services at any of the venues.
