Introduction

A college student Hana falls in love with a "wolf man". They soon have a girl Yuki and a boy Ame, who are both human and wolf, but the father suddenly passes away. Hana decides to move to the countryside surrounded by harsh yet rich nature to give her children the choice of being “humans” or “wolves” in the future. The story of a mother and her children for the period of 13 years.

Director	Mamoru Hosoda Born in 1967, Toyama prefecture. He was an animator and director in Toei Doga (now Toei Animation), before going freelance. After directing The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) and SUMMER WARS (2009), he became a rising figure both in Japan and abroad. In 2011, he established Studio Chizu, and released Wolf Children (2012). His latest film The Boy and the Beast (2015) drew an audience of 4.59 million in Japan.

* The Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Ordiance for Healthy Youth Development prohibits individuals under age of 18 from being at theaters from 23:00 to 4:00. This also applies when these individuals are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

* Screenings at TIFF are not eligible for Cinemileage (TOHO CINEMAS mileage).

* TIFF tickets are not eligible for parking services at any of the venues.
